If i was going to unexpectedly be stranded on an island (due to shipwreck or planewreck) I would take my glasses, a knife, and a book.
If I were to be stranded on a derserted island and already know about it, I would take a survival guide, my glasses, and a close friend.

A flare gun with plenty of flares, a rifle and lots of ammo and a TV with a satelite dish because I wouldn't want to miss The Sopranos.
