I think its the concept of piercing that makes a man think of easy sex. If you would make a hole in your mouth and decorate it calls up some very powerful images. I just think it looks gross and can break your teeth and it must hurt like the devil to put in.

I don't think it looks easy or slutty, but I do feel it is distracting in a business environment. I had a meeting with someone wearing one and I have no idea what they were saying - I just kept watching the ball on their tongue go up and down. While I didn't judge them, their presentation was completely ineffective because people were more focused on the tongue thing than on what they were saying.

Because it focuses attention on the mouth and makes peoples' minds wander to what it feels like. Also because people with tongue rings can never seem to keep them in their mouths.

Uh, because it DOES!!!!!! I hear that MOST people who wear tongue rings perform oral sex and either swallow semen, swallow ova, or BOTH! Hell, a NOW former coworker of mine who had (AND POSSIBLY still has) a tongue ring told me HERSELF that she sucked (AND STLL possibly sucks) D.I.C.K.!
