you cannot...sorry...quit being cheap and lazy and pick up a hair tool.....
well...do you try and flat iron your hair before you use the curling iron?and use aerosol hair spray after your done? tyra wears a weave...
try flat ironing your hair and then rolling it in hot rollers, apply a little spray before you roll for hold...when you take them off the curls will be smooth...and if you just want waves...brush the curls out

Twist it into a high bun, and let it try, then let it down, and you got wavy hair. Make sure you put in the gel and mousse before you do this, otherwise the product build up will weigh your hair down and loosen the waves too much. To twist it into a high bun, first, put your hair up in a ponytail, meaning, having the hairtie in your hair already. Then, twist the ponytail so that it scrunches up into a bun and then put another hairtie around it.

My hair is naturally wavy but to make it curly i skip conditioner and don't brush it. Sounds weird but it looks really nice. It might work for you.
