Without adding stigma to anything here, or any other answers posted, I want to add my two cents here.
I haven't found much honest info on the Atheism religion, so maybe putting more info 'out there' would help.
There are many different versions of Christians (examples--Babtist, Catholic, Pentecostal, etc.), and many different versions of Atheists as well. Maybe lumping everyone in one broad group isn't the answer...?
When you hear the term Gnostic Christian, to a lot of people it would sound like an oxy moron, although it's not. Most have a general idea as to what being a Christian means, but not what Gnostism is. It's assumed they are 'paganistic' and 'barbaric' where I'm from, anyway. Which, to me, doesn't appear to be true at all. So I research, finding all I can on the religion I'm wishing to learn more about.
Anyway, I hope you see what I mean here...."don't judge a book by it's cover" and " do unto others as you would have them do unto you" .

How modern are we talking about, atheists don't believe in God. If you don't elaborate your comment you won't get much more, than that.
Is there something else we should know about atheists, why don't you enlighten us a bit, this is all I know about it.

From atheist. There are alot of a$shole atheist in the world.
There is also alot of uninformed atheist in the world.
athesim is simply a position regarding theology.
Also they get this false info from their leaders of course. you knew this already didnt cha? :)

The same place they get their information about God....They make it up based on how they're feeling. God speaks to them through their emotional well-being. Atheists challenge that and tell them that it's just a brain function.

it appears the atheist are diverse in their thinking like other religion people. I get different input from different atheist.........by the way, what's an atheist agnostic???

Which leads us to another question....Why art thou christians replying to questions in a manner to which directly exemplifies the reason thy god proclaimed the ten commandments to be first and foremost part of their daily practises.
