God created us as the most important live in the whole entire universe. Jesus is our savior because he died for our sins even though there is no way to ever get evidence that up because he died a long time ago. We dedicate our lives to a book that Jesus’ disciples wrote years after Jesus died. (If I was a follower trying to promote a religion I would throw in some tall tales that my leader did) According to many people on yahoo as long as you believe in Jesus than you’ll have a one way ticket to heaven no matter how evil you are just as long as you repent. If you’re a kind honest person trying to live without his guidance than you will go to hell EVEN IF YOU BELIEVE IN GOD because JESUS IS THE ONLY TRUTH so that means JESUS to Christians out rank god, because even if you believe in God but ignore Jesus than you will go to hell. I’ve notice most Christians back up argument with quotes from the bible or with “Jesus loves you and wants to save you” What exactly is he saving me from? Hell? I’m not afraid of Hell like the obedient Christians.

Summing it up you can be a horrible person but believe in Jesus and “repent” for your crimes and go to heaven. But if you’re a good person who rarely “sins” and lived a respectable life WITHOUT molesting young boys but don’t accept Jesus as your LORD and SAVOR who you will do ANYTHING for like his pet than you will go to Hell.

My choice between Heaven with the forceful Jesus and his tyrant God or Hell? I rather burn in hell for eternity.

I read alot answers from christians and got this explanation. Please don't insult me, I've done my research and Its not that I made my choice of going to hell. I'm stating how unfair and unreasonable christians put free thinkers like me into an impossible situation.

Hmm...you seem a bit confused. First of all, we can back up the death of Jesus through history. Matthew, Mark and Luke all wrote their own accounts of His crucifixion at different times and in different parts of the world. All three accounts are so similar I would think that would be hard to DISprove. Many people write biographies of people after they have died. Usually people they knew and had intimate details of their life (remember the cad who wrote about having an affair with Princess Di?) Happens all the time.

We don't believe in "ranks" with God. We believe "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" and therefore "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Since Jesus was the sacrifice who died and rose again we go through Him to reach God. The Bible says there is no longer a need for a High Priest (sorry Jews) or confessions to a Priest (sorry Catholics) because JESUS Himself became our intercessor.

As for believe in Jesus and you'll have a one-way ticket to heaven no matter how evil you are - NOPE! Remember the woman at the well? The adultress? Jesus told her all about her sin, forgave her then told her to GO AND SIN NO MORE! There is no once saved, always saved (sorry Baptists!) You can be saved by the grace of God and make the conscious choce to walk away and live a life of sin again.

I am not God's pet - I am His child. He loves me as His child and I love Him as my father. I don't know if you are a parent yet but that concept was not as easy for me to grasp until I became a parent and realized how one loves their own child.

God gives me a good life, He wants only the best for me and the "laws" or "restrictions" He places on me are just like those of my parents when I was a small child - He does it to save me or keep me out of trouble or danger.

God and Jesus.are as one..you cant have one without the other. Anyone no matter who they are..they could be the worst person on earth..If they repented and ask God (Jesus) to come into thier life all their sins from that point on would be forgiven. But you have to believe. You cant think just by being a good person that you will go to heaven. All non believers will go to hell.

that perspective is a little messed up.

yes Jesus died for our sins and we can repent for our ticket to Heaven, but what if you don't repent before u die? what if you kill someone, then die right after before your chance to repent?

you must live your life as a Christian.

You can not go around doing whatever you want and, then at the end of the day go say "i'm sorry"

it just doesn't work that way. God knows what is really in your heart, and that is what He goes by.

if you do not live as a Christian, then you can't go around claiming to be a Christian, now can you?

you can burn in Hell if you want, but I choose the streets of GOLD!

>Summing it up you can be a horrible person but believe in
>Jesus and “repent” for your crimes and go to heaven.

Why did you leave out the all important part "be converted"?

You must repent, be converted, and believe.

>My choice between Heaven with the forceful Jesus
>and his tyrant God or Hell? I rather burn in hell for eternity.

That's your choice.

It is a shame, though, that you based your decision on faulty information; that the Enemy kept you from seeing the "BE CONVERTED" part.

Where do you get all your ideas you scare me lol? That is not Christianity and not all atheists are hateful I know many personally. That is the wonderful gift about free will ,you are free to believe in what ever you choose. Cool isn't it!! But a bit of advice before you start saving up sulfur I pray you go beyond the rhetoric and discover Gods LOVE for yourself or not ...that free will again. God Bless ~A~
O_O
PS, no one forced me I for a time was an atheist, then found I was actually agnostic and then later more discoveries! I found there was truth in that "old book" Jesus lives and he will not force you to believe, he wants your love freely given. Take Care

"Jesus is our savior because he died for our sins even though there is no way to ever get evidence that up because he died a long time ago."

Jesus is a part of history. There are records saying that he existed and the way he died. If you say that then you might as well say that Julius Caesar never lived. After all it was a "long time ago" when he died. Whether you believe that he died for our sins or not is your problem. It is our beliefs. Nobody ever said you need to follow them.

God created us special- in His own image. Then "man" fell away into sin and had to be saved. God sent His only son to die for our sins. JESUS is the only way to heaven and you must believe in HIM. Anyone can believe in God... just depends on which God you choose to believe. But there was only one Jesus and He is the Son of God... the ONLY way to everlasting life.
For God to forgive you, you must be truly repentant (meaning to be truly sorry and not commit this sin again). Because if you choose to use god as a forgiveness scapegoat, soon there will be no more forgiveness for you. All who are truly Christians will pay for their lives even when they enter Heaven because we will have to justify how we chose to live our lives. So, you may enter Heaven, but if you've lived a lousy life (Christian-wise), it doesn't mean you will evade punishment/responsibility.

First of all Jesus does not outrank God because they are one. It's the whole trinity thing. Second of all beliving in Jesus is only half the battle. You need to live your life in a way that is honoring to God. If you want to know more don't just ask some people over the Internet. Go to a church and talk to a priest or a pastor or reverend. I encourage you to go and will pray for you.

You have it all wrong. Jesus is God, even though Jesus came to earth as human to die for us on the cross he was conceived in human form so he could die and fulfill this promise to give us all salvation if we will accept his truth, his love and he everlasting forgiveness. Jesus is not forceful, we all have a choice and we all have the same promise of eternal life in Heaven if we will accept that Jesus died for us on the cross.
