Why won't they let me play the didgeridoo as part of the band for our church choir on Sundays?

I think that it's because it isn't a traditional instrument, such as classical guitar, piano, and organ. In the middle of sweet music, I just can't imagine a "phwooooooommmmmmmm". There are better places for a digeridoo than in church, like in an Cultural Appreciation Festival or something like that.

maybe they think its too loud and then you wont be able to hear the choir?

because someone may think its some kind of pagan instrument. go figure
