Not really. I am an expert in being drunk and I can tell you that if you drink it in a glass, or with a straw, you will still become intoxicated the same way. There is a silly notion that Beer is a quick buzz, when sipped through a straw, but it failed my test.
Sip, slurp or guzzle.... makes no difference.
You'll still get blasted. !

You can drink liquid through the straw quicker and therefore can get drunk quicker by drinking alcohol quicker. It doesn't however make the alcohol more potent.

The faster you drink is the quicker you get drunk.I like to drink with a straw it helps me drink faster.

Yes, it does. Alcohol is volatile and when you suck through a straw the increased pressure raises the temperature and evaporates some of it so it goes straight into the blood through the soft palate. Water is also absorbed quicker so mixing spirits with water will get you drunker faster.

You tend to drink faster when you drink with a straw. Drinker faster puts more alcohol into your system, faster than your body can absorbs. The more alcohol in your blood, the more intoxicated you become.

Yes that is true. I found that out the hard way!!! my drink was gone really fast too and there i was buying another. Before i knew it bamm i would hit the floor. Tons of fun at the time but i found that me and the happy drinks don't mix.

yes because when drinking through a straw you drink more at one time than when drinking from the glass or bottle.

no you're still drinking the same amount of alcohol and you can drink faster without the straw, try common sense when you try drinking through a smaller hole you drink less

I know I drink faster with a straw, maybe that's why. Especially if your drink has ice in it, you'll drink faster with a straw.
