Undetected for 2-3 years...Can one die if in the last stages?

Many people have lyme disease for years before it is properly diagnosed. Please check out rheumaticsupport.net there are quite a few people getting treated for lyme with good results. Be proactive in your own healthcare, research, find a doctor your really like.

Yep. My high school biology teacher died after being bitten by a lyme tick and died. I am not sure how long it took.

Yes, You can, but I am sure you Dr. Would have informed you of anything that significant by now. See your health care provider and have them explain what is going on to your body with you!! You will feel much better when they do!!

Yes, if undiagnosed and untreated it affects the neurological system.
