To the other posts, a silencer doesn't effect the accuracy of the gun, only a poorly made silencer does, that is why it is better to go with a company. The .270 is supersonic, the only thing a silencer would do is curb the blast from the muzzle, then you would hear the whoosh downrange or you can hear it echo in canyons. I don't think you could really handload the .270 to be subsonic. My thing is don't mess with it, it won't be totally silent like in the video games and a true sniper can set up his blind/spot with the rifle shot in mind. Half the time the confusion between the bullet's shockwave and the rifle blast are enough, add in people scared and you will get people saying the shooter was here there and everywhere. Deer won't care about a gunshot after a while. The only thing would be to poach wildlife which is illegal, and the Game Warden could hear the bullet traveling downrange and at least know you are there and find the vehicle. Hunting with silencers is illegal in the U.S. it is illegal to own unless you have a license for the BATF. Although I always see a bunch of books at gunshows and around on the subject. The last one I saw had an old guy on it with a rifle with a nice silencer on it. It makes it nicer on your ears, but with hunting you can have ear protection, there are even the amplifying kind that block out gun noise, so I don't think it would be a problem. The silencer only blocks out gun noise and does not reduce recoil. It is nice in the military for the spotters especially with the .50 bmg. The shooter gets more of a kick, but that is to be expected. The spotter gets less of headache. Hope that helps. I doubt they would design a silencer for the 710 as its not a sniper type rifle, but you can still attach a .270 silencer to it. I don't know if they even make a .270 silencer in regular production, 7mm or a .30/7.62 would more common.
