This is an excelent question. Remember Christ did not just die on the Cross but he also suffered in the garden of Gethsemane. There he blead from every pore. There he took on himself the sins of the world. He felt every temptation, ever phyisical pain or illness and every conciquence of every sin. If this were not the case he could not judge us because he would not have any understanding as to what being mortal ment. It is very important that you remember that though imortal because of his father he was also mortal because of his mother and still subject to pain and death and most importantly Temptation. He just chose the better road. I hope this helps. If you want a good scripture check out, Mosiah 3:7. Book of Mormon LDS.org

Jesus came to Earth to have the HUMAN experience. Being human, he, like me and you, faced temptations. He was just above it all and rebuked Satan.
Jesus knew what his Mission, so to speak, was and he accomplished it. With out spot or blimish. Like a Lamb. Jesus is the Lamb of God and Jesus had to present himself before his Father without spot or blemish.
You can read more about 'without spot or blemish' at this website below:
But, at the Cross, His Father turned from Jesus because he had taken on all the sins of the world. That is why Jesus said these words to God at the Cross, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani" which means, "My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" This can be found in the NT in Matthew 27:46
I really hope this helped you...

First, He understands everything because He is God. Secondly, He understands love and goodness and truth because He IS love and goodness and truth. Sin is simply rejection of love and goodness and truth. Jesus was often the recipient of rejection and sin, and would no doubt have understood it quite well, even if He had not been God.

Sin is the breaking of the relationship with Jesus' ABBA; he never broke that relationship of tenderness & intimacy.
Jesus knows sinners & became "one" with our humanity. SO, Jesus understands "sinners/people".

to understand something means to have recognized it and to grasp it with your intellect...Jesus knew and knows it for what it is...sin being an action that goes contrary to the love and will of God...He being true God and true Man...and He having been tempted...knows sin...and He, having suffered such grievous punishment...having taken that punishment meant for sinful man...certainly knows sin and its consequences

Sara, you have asked some of the most asinine questions on this site. Crack a book or go to Church, you're starting to look like a stupid blond caricature of a woman.

One doesn't have to do something to understand it. I have never murdered someone but I still have the right to say that murder is wrong.
