Yes! It is legal to play. The law does not make it illegal to play online poker. As said before use NETeller, they rock. Solid service and they will keep working with Americans. Just make sure if you play on a site that is banning Americans that you cash out. Some of them are just going to send checks to players that don't cash out on time, so it will take awhile for that check to get to you. http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com/article.php/internet-gambling-ban-poker-sites-status is a list of the majority of online sites and their status with regard to US players. Right now Full Tilt is the best option if you want rakeback. If not try Pokerstars.

just because people have been doing it with ease doesn't make it legal..it is illegal..has been for some time...but this recent bill is in hopes of actually enforcing it..some sites are "folding" and are not allowing US players to play any longer (cash games)..while other sites are fighting back..and will just find new ways of transferring the money..so hard to actually enforce..and some people play online poker for a living...it will still happen one way or another..but these new actions will scare away the casual online gambler

Yes.

The new gambling law that Bill Frist decided to insert into an anti-terror bill only makes it harder for companies outside the US to allow gambling, and makes it harder to use American credit cards and banks.

Stick with the main companies that still offer to do business with the US, and use Neteller to transfer funds and you will be just fine.

god you people are stupid. it has always been illegal and nearly impossible to enforce....it is still very simple to gamble; it is only a little more difficult to get the cash to and from your account because it is now illegal for banks to do it.
