We, Muslims are not the only ones who believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) is mortal and not a god so that means we deny the trinity.

The Jews also reject the trinity, in addition to the very first groups of Christianity such as the Ebonites, the Corinthians, the Basilidians, the Capocratians, and the Hypisistarians never know about trinity doctrine at all. The Arians, Paulicians and Goths also accepted Jesus (peace be upon him) as a prophet of God and against the trinity.

Even in the modern age there are churches in Asia, in Africa, the Unitarian church, the Jehovah's witnesses, and even the majority of today's Anglican Bishops do not worship Jesus (peace be upon him) as one in three, as what been report by the "Daily News" 25/6/84 under the heading "Shock survey of Anglican Bishops."

Moreover, the 'Socinianism', the 17th-century Christian also rejects such traditional doctrines as the Trinity and original sin, the founder is Socinus, and his Latinized name of Lelio Francesco Maria Sozzini (1525-1562), the Italian Protestant theologian.

Johannes Greber (1874) a former of Catholic priest in his book 'The Communication with the Spirit World of God' in page 371 was written, "As you see, the doctrine of a triune Godhead is not only contrary to common sense, but is entirely unsupported by the Scriptures". So another priest who was deny the trinity.

A theologians, Edouard Schillebeeckx of the Netherlands in 1979 was writings some article that rejects the doctrine of the Trinity. This caused concern to the Vatican.

Question to Trinitarian Christians:

Why, for thousands of years, did none of God's prophets teach his people about the Trinity? At the least, would Jesus not use his ability as the Great Teacher to make the Trinity clear to his followers? Would God inspire hundreds of pages of Scripture and yet not use any of this instruction to teach the Trinity if it were the "central doctrine" of faith?

The works of Plato were extensively studied by the Church Fathers, one of whom joyfully recognizes in the great teacher, the schoolmaster who, in the fullness of time, was destined to educate the heathen for Christ, as Moses did the Jews. The celebrated passage : "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word Was God" is a fragment of some Pagan treatise on the Platonic philosophy, evidently written by Irenaeus. It is quoted by Amelius, a Pagan philosopher as strictly applicable to the Logos, or Mercury, the Word, apparently as an honorable testimony borne to the Pagan deity by a barbarian........We see then that the title "Word" or "Logos," being applied to Jesus, is another piece of Pagan amalgamation with Christianity. It did not receive its authorized Christian form until the middle of the second century after Christ

They also 'decided' whether or not Christ would be divine, or just a prophet. This was at the council of Nicea....look it up if you dare.....its something Christians hate to hear about. Sorry! Might not be the kind of answer you are seeking, but somehow related to the trinity....if in fact man decided that Jesus would be part of it.

Just because a 3rd century person used the word divinity or divine doesn't prove that the 1st century believe it.

Even the words divinity and divine, also mean from God, Like God, and a god.

Is Jesus from God, yes, therefore he is divine
Is Jesus like God, yes, he did nothing on his own.
Is Jsus a god, yes, god can mean Mighty one.

Paul said that after he left wolves would take over the congregations to make disciples for themselves, and the great apostasy had already started.

The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.”—(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126.

The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.

In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.

Early Christians rejected Trinity:!?
NOT TRUE AT ALL!

The CONCEPT of ""three manifestations"" of the ONE TRUE GOD (True God - not little demon allah) was visible in the first Scriptures or Scrolls!

Look up Psalm 45, and Psalm 110. Both indicate THE GOD speaking to
"HIS OTHER".....also......The Trinity is indicated in 1 John 5:7 if you are using
a King James Bible (others have removed or altered same).

In the Old Testament see Isaiah 44:6 --- and His redeemer I am ---.
and Isaiah 45:11 --- And His maker --.

My favourite indicator is 1 Corinthians 15:28 ! At some point The Trinity will once
again unite because THEN there will be no need for The Trinity !

Water appears as a liquid, steam, and ice. All three are one.
A Clover leaf has three segments, it is but ONE clover.

In both situations above, three are one. Why can't THE GOD do the same?

The Arians (followers of a clergyman named Arius) have been shouted and voted down on the 1st Ecumenical Council of Nicaea. they did not extremely reject the Trinity, yet believed that the father, Son and Spirit had unequal status. They extensive-unfold all 3, yet felt that the father became God. Jesus and the Spirit have been chiefly different creations, yet not equivalent to the father. Gnosticism additionally rejected the assumption of the Trinity. the main recognizable sect of Gnosticism - the Cathars of medieval France - believed that there became a God of Spirit (AKA the father in Heaven) and an evil God that controlled each little thing in the international (talked approximately as Rex Mundi).

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

shadowofears,
The Trinity, it is true, was not used until the 2nd and 3rd centuries.1.

Yet the Bible makes it clear that the concept is there. It was not amde up as a concept. As I was taught, it was a poetic way to describe the nature of God, it falls short of that, but it does get us into that area of describing wht the Bible says.

It is not something that I dwell on, but after reading the Bible, I have no problem with believing in it.

Jesus said that you must worship God only:
Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

and He, being the Christ, and God accepted worship:
Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Matthew 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Matthew 9:18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
Matthew 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

etc.

So that Jesus put Himself on the same level as God. And we find out why throughout the New Testament why, but also after the Gospels:
Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

So it is not unbiblical to look at Jesus as God, because He is stated as being God, all throughout the New Testament, and even in the Old Testament:
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (H6005).
Immanuw'el -- pronounced: im-maw-noo-ale'

from 5973 and 410 with a pronominal suffix inserted; with us (is) God; Immanuel, a type name of Isaiah's son: KJV -- Immanuel.

See Hebrew No. 5973

See Hebrew No. 410

So God told the prophet Isaiah that God would be with us. And that God is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Are you sure?

Hermas
The Son of God is older than all his creation, so that he became the Father’s adviser in his creation. Therefore also he is ancient (The Shepherd 12 [A.D. 80]).

Justin Martyr
God speaks in the creation of man with the very same design, in the following words: "Let us make man after our image and likeness." . . . I shall quote again the words narrated by Moses himself, from which we can indisputably learn that [God] conversed with someone numerically distinct from himself and also a rational being. . . . But this offspring who was truly brought forth from the Father, was with the Father before all the creatures, and the Father communed with him (Dialogue with Trypho the Jew 62 [A.D. 155]).

Polycarp of Smyrna
I praise you for all things, I bless you, I glorify you, along with the everlasting and heavenly Jesus Christ, your beloved Son, with whom, to you and the Holy Spirit, be glory both now and to all coming ages. Amen (Martyrdom of Polycarp 14 [A.D. 155], emphasis added).

Irenaeus
It was not angels, therefore, who made us nor who formed us, neither had angels power to make an image of God, nor anyone else. . . . For God did not stand in need of these in order to accomplish what he had himself determined with himself beforehand should be done, as if he did not possess his own hands. For with him [the Father] were always present the Word and Wisdom, the Son and the Spirit, by whom and in whom, freely and spontaneously, he made all things, to whom also he speaks, saying, "Let us make man in our image and likeness" [Gen. 1:26] (Against Heresies 4:20:1 [A.D. 189], emphasis added).

And this one is to wipe out Kimo's fiction of no Trinity word before the 4th Century.

Gregory the Wonderworker
But some treat the Holy Trinity in an awful manner, when they confidently assert that there are not three persons, and introduce [the idea of] a person devoid of subsistence. Wherefore we clear ourselves of Sabellius, who says that the Father and the Son are the same [person]. . . . We forswear this, because we believe that three persons—namely, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—are declared to possess the one Godhead: for the one divinity showing itself forth according to nature in the Trinity establishes the oneness of the nature (A Sectional Confession of Faith 8 [A.D. 262]).

Just because the Jews didn't "get it" from the Old Testament doesn't mean that God did not teach it to them. They were a "stiff-necked" people, stubborn, and self-willed, reluctant to change, and vulnerable to idolotry.
They had trouble remaining faithful their understanding of God, much less His manifestion as a triune being.
As evidenced in the name "Elohim" in Genesis 1:1, the Jews chose to overlook the plurality within the name.
