PartyPoker no longer accepts wagers from US players (read their press release here: http://www.theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/usa/partygaming.pdf ), so if you are looking for a real-money game, you'll have to look elsewhere.
There is no set date that all online poker rooms will cease accepting wagers from US-based players. Some online poker sites continue to accept all players, some accept US players that do not reside in certain US states, while some bar all US-based players. Keep up to date with all of the online poker rooms at The Online Casino Gambling Directory, where each online poker room's status with repsect to the USIGA is clearly listed.
For US real-money players, I recommend Crazy Poker; Crazy Poker has confirmed that they are still accepting US real-money players as of this writing (read about it here: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/usa/crazyvegas.htm ). In addition, they are currently offering $10 free + 40% bonus on initial deposits between $20 and $100. Finally, be a part of their billionth hand promotion to be eligible to win cash, prizes, and special freeroll tournament entries when you play at their poker room. Sign up here: http://www.crazypoker.com/index.asp?btag=AfBtag959706001
If Crazy Poker is not to your liking, The Online Casino Gambling Directory currently lists over 90 online poker rooms (http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?t=Poker&SRC=YahooAnswers ), approximately 30 of which have confirmed that they continue to accept US real-money players (http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?t=Poker&as_usa=1&SRC=YahooAnswers ).
Best of luck!
Robert

This is not going to happen. There are hundreds of poker sites, and only a handful have abandoned America thanks to our inept political leadership right now.
Party Poker, 888.com, Pacific, and Titan have cut and run. Major sites like Poker Stars, Poker Room, and Full Tilt have pledged to carry on.
We need to vote out these bastards that keep taking our rights and demand the right to freely spend our money the way we like. This is not China, this is America. Someone needs to tell Bill Frist and his buddies that.

I've done a full article reviewing the details of the so-called "Internet Gambling Ban". The page includes a link to all sites allowing American players.

There IS no ban! The Act Bush signed changes nothing. DON'T PANIC!!

Party will stop allowing US players today when Bush signs the bill. A bunch of sites will keep allowing US players. http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com/article.php/internet-gambling-ban-poker-sites-status if you check that you will see that the majority of sites are still allowing US players and will continue to!

it is not being transmitted into into the united states or any other country...it is in cyberspace and if you want it you have to go get it. it isn't even illegal in the united states to download it. it becomes a federal crime when somebody located in the united states makes a bet for money.
