Extremely cheap tires for sale are not a good idea. Tire failures at high speeds can cause some serious damage to your care and you. New cars usually come with tires that are rated way beyond the speeds you will be going. If your rarely get over 70 miles an hour on the interstate then you can get less expensive tires. Go to a reputable tire dealer and have him give you a good price on the exact tire you need. The more you wait the more the price will go up. Tires are made from oil. Anyhow you want good tires with good tread especially with winter approaching. There are lesser known brands that are good tires. Continental Tires are probably the best for the price.

Usually, it's not recommended by safety standards to buy or
use any used car tyres because of the uncertainty and the
assurance that they will perform well on the road during driving.
Since tyres are very important component in safe driving, it's best to buy them new, even if it costs a bit more.
New tyres are guaranteed by manufacturers that they are
certainly good and can perform well on the road.

Make sure you check out the tires before you purchase them. If they still look good and have good tread left on them then they should be fine. I have bought used tires several times. If they are getting bald or have bulges on the side then don't but them.

Some used tires from wrecking yard are almost as new tires. Make sure you check the condition of the tires.

No, because they could be structurally damaged as you don't know what has happened to them before you get them. For example the car they are from could have been in a major accident etc
but they are better than worn out tyres

sure it's safe if you buy decent used tires. everything has risk associated with it. if your willing to take it then go for it. but if something happens ...remember...you assumed the responsibility when you took the risk....

It's a bad idea. You should always buy brand new tires.
