When will my hair extensions stop hurting?

I got hair extensions a few days ago - Great Lengths - they adhere with a protein bond. My head HURTS! There are so many little hard things now on my head and it hurts if I lay down or if I put my hand into my hair the wrong way. Does anyone know when my head will stop hurting?

about 2 days for them to losten up enough to stop hurting...just take some advil...and next time take advil before you get it done
