Yes, but unfortunately we also have to live with other people's free choices. The drunk driver, the robbers, murderers, rapists, etc. Sometimes we fail through no fault of our own and some people who don't necessarily "deserve it", are just born into fame, fortune and beauty.
Don't get me wrong, I will do the best I can with what I have, but we don't really have a fair playing field. God's plan? Who knows.

That's an interesting point. God put us here with a line to follow, just as you said. Yet WE continually choose to conduct experiments in navigating the gauntlet of our own stupidity by vearing fromt he clear path given to us.
In the words of Dean Koontz,...
"People can always be counted on to assert, with vigor, their God-given right to be stupid."

A big experiment to find what out? That's absurd.
Life just is.

I've always thought about it as growing and learning from our mistakes .
Sometimes it takes more lessons than other times .
