I am very sorry about your Mom breaking her ankle. I guess she had her reasons for going to Colorado to heal. I hope you begin to feel better each day. If your feeling continue, call her and discuss it with her, or another member of your family.

OUCH! I have had a broken ankle before and it was not a delightful experience, I would rather have a child, butt first, less pain.

Why did she need to come here to heal? I live in Denver and have been told by my doctor that a lot of people come to Colorado to heal only it was not from broken bones. Do you think your mom has another health issue that she is not telling you about?

A lot of people with MS, Lupus and other types of illnesses along those lines come here because the altitude is supposed to be helpful. I have Lupus and can certainly tell the difference when I go out of state.

I hope and pray for her sake as well as yours that she simply wanted to take in some wonderful scenery while she heals, there is some snow in the mountains now, even if she is in Denver it is still a beautiful thing to wake up to, if you can see it through the smog.

Good luck to both of you!
