because people can interprete it differently. what might look innocent to you might look obscene to me

Interpretive dance is not wrong. I think it's beautiful. Many cultures have many different interpretive dances. Look at people in Africa, Hawaii, China, Japan, etc...You get the picture. In the American society, some people grow up to be biased and they are not open to other "different or Wierd" things. It's sad to see that, because they are missing out on a lot of things! Look at Cirque Du Soleil - that is also considered Interpretive Dance and It's the most beautiful show I have ever seen!

How can interpretive dance be wrong, maybe some people don't understand it so they think its wrong, not everyone is ignorant.
