if it's one of those tall brick walls (with nothing to help you climb over it) and no other means of escape, then there are two options.

1. transform into fighting mode, and give it all you're got. don't stop until you're pinned or unconscious.

2. surrender; you know your limits. and sometimes it's just not worth fighting for, especially if there are weapons involved (metaphorically speaking).

Up against a wall? Face it! Respect it! Come to grips with why you you have encountered a wall. Learn the lesson. Sit down and write down the options for dealing with it; the pros and the cons. Choose an option, take action, ask for help to climb over it. Pray for strength to climb over it. Face each obstacle as you proceed forward. Once you have overcome the wall, be thankful for the experience. You are a better person. You are stronger. You will realize that with God's help, every wall has a solution. If the solution is not as you had hoped, come to the understanding, some solutions are not perfect, nor perhaps one you would have chosen. Last, but not least, move on, don't look back except to be reminded not to walk into another wall in the same way or place. Make a choice to be happy.

I know all about being up against a wall! The way I suggest you handle it is to be the aggressor, not the submissive one. You must use every inch of strength you have to try and overpower what seems to be overpowering you! It won't be a cakewalk, though. But, with prayer, diligence, and a humble attitude, you will be just fine. Whatever you do, don't give up! This is a storm for you to test your faith and patience. You are being conditioned for something else. This will definitely make you stronger, you'll see. You'll look back at this issue and say, "dang, so that is what I went through that drama for, now I understand." And then, you will move on and have new strength for whatever is next. Stay encouraged. Luvu.

i like to write it out to think about it first

make a list of what would resolve the situation - and then what the positives/negatives are of each action - usually this will make the decision for itself.

However, in some cases (since you don't say what the "wall" is made of) the best thing you can do is jump in and just ride it out, or crawl into a ball and hide. But think about what makes your "wall" - you wouldn't use the same tools to cut down a wall made out of drywall as you would bricks - and so of course you need to make sure whatever you decide to do (or not do) is the best thing for the situation.

watch closely, there is always an opening to do the right thing but if you are not watching or open to it then it passes you by. No problem though learn from it to be better prepared next time, and if you faild the test there will be a next time.
