don't lump all of us Christians in the same bag....our church recognizes homosexuality as a sin......so is gossiping that i do......we don't choose any sin and then start badgering people about the sin.....we all fall short of the glory of God every day. It would be your right wing evangelical fundamentalist's churches which are prone to not be tolerant of homosexuality the most.

Homosexuality is a disordered condition, and people who are homosexual are actually sex addicts. It's like if someone is an alcoholic, do you think everyone should be telling them that their actions are not bad for them?
Anyone can make up any religion that says whatever people want to hear. Jesus didn't tell people what they wanted to hear, so He was crucified. Jesus told the Truth, and that's what people don't want to hear. Nothing has changed since then with people who are attached to the world and to their sins.
Try prayer and study the bible, and read what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says about homosexuality. Then read "Theology of the Body" by John Paul II.

All religions are not tolerant to homosexuality . They were never tolerant nor they would be because religions are for a conservative way of life and not for a different one.

Because they need a following of minority to grow.
You will notice catholics, protestants, jews, don't give religious flyers or go knocking door to door, stand on street corners, lobby in airports to get a vote, I mean a following.

Because a true Christian is a follower of Christ (that's what Christian means, Christ like). A Christian follows God's word as he wrote it, not as the human race would like it to be. God's word is to stay as it is, not be twisted so that it accommodates selfish human desire.

Because christianiy is based solely on the written word of God, the Holy Bible. where God is the supreme lawgiver . God is holy and He requires holiness among His people.
