I'm going to a gay club tonight with my friends. There's about 6 of us going... two of them are gay, so we're going for their sakes, and I won't be the only straight person there. I'm extremely nervous though... because I don't really know what to expect. Has anyone straight been to a gay bar? What do I do if a girl hits on me? I'm so nervous, lol.

I am straight and yes, I have been to gay bars with some gay friends. I too was, well freaked out beforehand....but ended up having a great time. I even danced provacatively with another woman but it was all in fun. It was nice being out with friends and not having to worry about men hitting on me, it was freeing. So just go have fun and know your limits.

Don't be - we're all human. If a girl hits on you - just way that you are not gay but we're here because my friends are and we're celebrating (or whatever).... They'll leave you alone.... they're just human looking for a relationship.
Look at it this way - if a gay person went to a straight club and a guy asked them out, they'd say their gay - so what's the difference?

What makes you think you'll get hit on? There might not be one person there that finds you attractive. What do you do when you go to a straight bar and guy's you aren't attracted to hit on you? Well do the same thing at a Gay bar if girls you aren't attracted to hit on you. Most likely it wont be a problem at all. Just go out and have fun. People in bars are just people in bars...doesn't matter what their gender is. Be Safe.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Your friends will loOK out for you. I have a lot of gay friends and they do know straight from gay. Just have a good time and don't take everything as a hit from another girl. It may not be meant that way. I think you will be ok. Have FUN!!!!

What do you do when a guy hits on you and you want to give him a clear but kind message that you are not interested? Same thing. Relax and have fun. Forget the fact that you're at a "gay bar" and allow yourself to have a good time.

I'm str8t but I've been to a gay bar with some friends before. If a girl hits on you and you don't like it, let her know you don't swing that way. If you have a boyfriend or husband, it also helps to have them around so you can hang on them all night.

I have been to a gay bar with a gay freind of mine and i found it wild. If a gay person hits on you just explain that you are not gay and you are here to make your other freinds feel better. Just let her know that you are not interested....

don't be nervous. you're going to be with friends, so you should feel safe. just politely explain that you're not interested and that you're just there to hang out with your friends. if anything it should be a compliment that you get hit on.
