Sort of. But I wasn't meditating at that time. The room was quiet and I just didn't want to be the one to shock everyone with a loud noise. :) I stifled a sneeze. It's totally do-able. You're right, you just breath your way through it.

Wouldn't it be easier to sneeze and get it over with? I mean then you could just get on with your meditating instead of trying to hold back a sneeze for 2 minutes. Better out than in.
Or is that like breaking some sort of meditation rule?

I think I have some bad news for you. I have never meditated, but during important meetings at work, when I have to sneeze. I suppress it, and after a little while, I don't have to sneeze anymore. Sorry to rain on your parade, but I don't think this is a skill acquired through training and focussing your thoughts.

You could pop an arterie in your neck if you try to refuse a sneeze, but breathing through it sounds cool.

No, but I'm working on tha whole emptiness thing. I still have to fight off the urge to scratch when I get an itch. Good job, keep meditating!

No, but I've stopped hiccups on many occasions through breathing.
(No biggie - all the most effective home & folk remedies force you to take control of your breathing. I just cut out the gimmicks.)
