It depends on how badly they want to break up, How young they are and how petty. Oh and how good of a gift giver the guy is known to be. For example A highschool girl that just isnt interested might wait an extra month to break up with a guy if V-day is comming up, but Its unlikely that a female would wait longer than that. Especially older women because the holiday yield to suffering with the guy ratio usually isnt very high and that knowledge comes from holiday experience. :)

Sure! But it's okay. It's kinda the opposite of some guys who break up with their girl just before a special holiday like, say, Christmas and Valentine's Day.

Yes, it is true. If you know that she is contemplating breaking up with you, and only delaying it to get something, you better break up with her first.
Do it only if you're sure that you're about to get dumped. Don't allow her to have the upper hand on a bad breakup, Her premeditated motive is not right.

Sometimes, depends if he is a good gifter or not. Depends on why she wants to break up with you in the first place. Personally, I think men give up way to easily

yeah but then again i broke up with a girl once right before valentines day so i didn't have to get her anything... and then got back together with her right after... so you just gotta play yer cards right... if it is meant to be its meant to be ... but if you got her a leaf blower for valentines day... and then used it... then it was probably the gift... congratulations on the new leaf blower though... can i borrow it?
