Personally I think 3.5 is a cutoff point to get a good job in a Fortune100 companies. If possible, you want to have a GPA higher than 3.5.

Your'e GPA is fine....if it's your cumulative GPA...

GPA's are important, but that's not what gets you hired. It's a draw for recruiters...but it just looks good on paper. It's not the GPA you should be worrying about as much as acing your job interview and leaving a lasting impression.

Make sure you get tight with that process...you've got to know your strengths and weaknesses...and during the interviewing process you have to be able to turn your weaknesses into strengths....

Read as many "how to interview well" books as you can get your hands on....and go into that interview with confidence. Cause at the end of the day the person with the most confidence will pull the job...not the highest GPA....

Don't be one of those "I got good grades...why can't I land a job people?"....

I just graduated from college in May. I'd say that a 3.5GPA is pretty decent. I think that maybe the school you went to would have some pull too. If you had a 3.5 from Princeton..that would look pretty good. A 3.8 from a school that wasn't as academically rigorous would look the same. I hope that makes sense.

Being a Career Counselor, I believe 3.5 GPA is above average... average is 3.00.

A 3.5 is slightly above the usual university average. Then again, most college students never make it past their second semester.
A great scholarship will still only expect around a 3.25 for the first semester to keep the scholarship.
