you can rub lotion through your hair:it makes it look wet, it holds your hair in place while keeping it soft and it smells good!

I have done the lotion thing too but,it makes my hair feel yucky!

I use baby oil it makes it feel soft as long as you don't use too much. If,you do it will feel like it needs to be washed.

I use it to straighten my hair, and give it that, wet look.I don't use alot though.

The other thing.I have naturally wavy hair.I put some on my hands and coat my hair with it then, what ever hair products I decide to use.It works great to keep the frizz away...for me anyway.

I also use baby oil, after I have curled my hair. I put some on my hands, rub them together, put it through out my hair, and it keeps my curls frizz free and lasting longer actually.I think it would weigh down my hair but, nope.

Im a guy with very long hair and was told by a old girlfriend to use egg whites to bring out the true color of my blond hair. I have been doing this for over 5 years and I let my hair soak with the egg whites for about 5-10 minutes twice a week. I quit doing this for about a month one time during my busy busy time of the year and I noticed a difference in both color and management of my hair, never stopped doing it again.

I use a shampoo every day that has ground up pearls or ground up calcium carbonate (limestone) or something like that in it. The shampoo itself is heavy and slippery and very shiny.

It's called "Ultraswim" shampoo and it really does get most of the chlorine out of your hair. People who do lap swimming daily (as I do) swear by it, but the ingredients are weird and full of chemicals and something like ground up pearls or chalk.

I soaked strands of my hair in Kool-Aid before to get long-lasting red highlights. It pissed my mother off, but I still think it was hot. It really lasted till it grew out too. Oh, how I loved that stage!
