One dog, a Rottwieler. We got him as a puppy. We didn't know what his personality was going to be like, but we knew he would be BIG when he grew up. We figured he would either sleep a lot or move earth at a whim. So we called him Dozer. We were right!!! And he is the most lovely baby a family could have.

My childhood home is a one-pet (one-cat) household.
Mallow will be 10 years old in April.
Yes, I got the name from Super Mario RPG, but also from "marshmallow" because he's so cute when he curls up like a marshmallow. ^^
He has a pen pal. I met a cat that looked a lot like him in Dubrovnik, Croatia who fell asleep in my lap. I named Mallow's Croatian cousin dB, which can either be decibels or referring to Dubrovnik. Heh ^.^

So cool you have rescued and adopted your animals!
I adopted , or rather, my cat adopted me from the Humane Society. Every time we would walk by his cage, he would lay on his side and bat us with a soft paw. The third time, I said, that's it, he is ours!
I have a big picture of "THE TERRACE" by Vincent van , a very colorful and lively print, right in front of where I sit when I am on the computer. I named my cat Theo, which is the name of Vincent's brother. His brother supported him emotionally and financially so Vincent could create his paintings. My cat Theo is colorful and lively and a joy to have !

Back in 1979, we had gotten a puppy that was part german shepherd, and part collie...........He was Beautiful......His coloring was blonde and white..........a beautiful blend all over....We named him Buster T. Brown...(buster brown came form the shoe brand ) and the T just went right for a middle initial....He was great with children but he protected this whole family when a stranger came around.....
We also had 2 rabbits, 1 was black and 1 was white....We named them snowball and pepper ! We gave one of the off spring to a friend who lived in the city, and she would get the rabbit out of its cage everyday and trained it to walk with her in the fenced in yard.....It eventually walked to the corner store with her.........they allowed it to come in..............everyone thought that was pretty cool..........
We had a cockatiel named Joey ! Beautiful bird, but a pain in the backside,,,,He chirped constantly and was so ear piercing......We put him out in the laundry room, and could still hear him several rooms away with all the doors closed.........We gave him to a friend........Our last dog was a Min-Pin (minature doberman pincher) the cutest, most loveable little dog.....Everytime you would come home from wherever, He would kiss on you like he hadn't seen you for a year......you could walk down to the mail box, and he would do the same thing when you came back...So cute His name was Sami....He accidently got hit by a car at my daughters house...We still miss him>>>and his kisses...........

Have a male cat named Cleo (we named him this before we figured out he was a male and it just stuck). Also have another male cat named Jack. Jack just fits him. He kinda reminds me of a pirate because he is missing a front tooth and his lip gets caught on the bottom so it sticks up and makes him look really mean although he is a sweetie pie.
