Cut the fruit open. Dig the seeds out with a spoon and either eat them as is or you can use a strainer to mash the seeds and strain the juice into a bowl.

Pomegranate juice can be used to make gelatin desserts, sauces and dressing, while the seeds can be used as a garnish or eaten alone. There is no right way to get at the juicy insides of a pomegranate, but these suggestions should help.

Extract the Seeds
Steps
Cut off the flowery end of the pomegranate.
Score into sections.
Place in a bowl of water.
Allow fruit to soak for 5 minutes.
Break the sections of the fruit open in the bowl of water.
Allow the seed kernels to separate from the rind and sink to the bottom.
Discard the rind and drain the kernels.
Tips & Warnings
A less formal way to enjoy the pomegranate raw is to just break or cut the fruit open and extract the kernels with your fingers or a nut pick.
The seeds inside the kernels may be eaten.
Extract the Juice
Steps
Press the fruit against a countertop.
Roll it back and forth to break open the kernels and release the juice.
Puncture or cut the pomegranate to squeeze the juice out.
Tips & Warnings
Another method is to blend seeds in a blender or food processor, and drain the juice through cheesecloth.
Overall Things You'll Need
Knife
Blenders
Nut Picks
Food Processors
Cheesecloth Strainers
Pomegranates
Overall Tips & Warnings
Be careful where you cut and eat the fruit - the juice stains.

First, you plant pomegranite trees around the fence of your property. The plant produces large thorns that are indistinguishable from the twigs of the plant, and as the pomegranites make the branches droop, and then new branches grow, and the seeds sprout little seedlings, you will have an impenetrable mass of spiky branches, many of which are literally braided together.

Then, using gloves which reach all the way to your armpits, and a full face shield and steel breastplate, you pick the the fruit. Once picked you may remove your protective gear, and put on a painter's apron.

The pomegranite has a flowery stub on one end which you can rip into with your thumb. By applying careful pressure, you can often get the pomegranite to split into somewhat neat sections. Suck on a few of the seeds, and deligt in the flavor.

Good? OK. Now, give up, and throw the pomegranite away before the juice seeps through your painter's apron, throw the remaining pomegranites in a large half barrel, and hire your yard boy to stomp it into juice like a french peasant. Store in wine bottles. The yard boy's foot fungus will ferment the juice into a pleasant wine in about 5-30 years, depending on climate, and the hygene of your yard boy. Fetishists may prefer to hire a yard woman for the juicing process.

Well you want to eat it in pieces or you will stain eveything. Put it in a bowl with a napkin over your lap. Or anyway that will keep it from staining. LOL i love pomegrantaes yes the juice is expensive but the way i eat it is taking the seeds out sucking the suculent juices from the flesh of the pomegranate and smiling with delight after i eat it.

Slice the rind into quarters ( careful not to cut too deeply ), peel off the rind, carefully loosen the seed-sacks, let them drop into a container, mash the seeds one at a time in your mouth, sucking the juice and pulp off the seed then spit the seed out. Its a lot of work for but once you get the knack of pulping them without swallowing the seed they make a great snack, the seeds can remain fresh for a few hours out of the rind and will keep rather well if placed in the frig.

Cut them open, remove the seeds with a spoon, and eat the seeds from a bowl(or straight from the fruit). You can also put them in salads to make things interesting :)
