No, it will come back to haunt you. Would you like someone to do that to you just because they didn't like you? I wouldn't. We are not going to like everyone and not everyone is going to like us. That doesn't mean we need to destroy their reputations or life.

Absolutely not.... it's not a very ethical or moral thing to do. There's nothing worse than being falsely accused of something - sounds like you're being a little vindictive here.... just don't do it - it certainly won't make you feel better about yourself - maybe temporarily - but you'll have to live with the consequences of that.

Why in the world would you want to do something like that even if you do not like a person? The only thing that that will accomplish is make you look like a unworthy, untrusting person, someone that most people would NOT want to know.
If ya don't like em, leave em alone. That takes more maturity then to tell falsehoods!

Hi, Chuck Dhue,
No, I don't think it is OK.... I think you should have been more defiant, if you know you don't like your friend in that way... It would hurt your friendship more, by lying to her... You would have to go through it again, if she asked you out again, and if the same thing happens... you will end up doing something you'll regret later... I think you should talk to your friend, sort it out, but nicely.....
>>>>>
You are not only "lying" to yourself, but also to that girl...
Be honest, in a "nice way", because the longer you wait to tell the truth..the more that girl will be hurt..
and probably : don't trust men for a while... ;s
>>>>>
I know, this is probably hard to do for you, because you don't want to hurt her.. but in the long-run : "the truth" will come out, and this is going to be much worse.. for the both of you..
>>>>>
Bottom line : To prevent your relationship from being soured, simply be honest with her, and tell her that you are willing to be her "friend", but that she must understand : that you don't have romantic feelings towards her!
>>>>
I wish you : the best of luck!

Thanks, for the question!

My regards! .. Take care!!

No it's not OK. There is a law against that, other than it being morally wrong. They can get you for Deplimation of Character (gee i hope i spelled that right)
