If the person got sick, the fog would have nothing to do with it. Just like most think that if you dont wear a jacket in the cold then you will get sick-not true. During the winter, many people get sick becasue that is the time that a lot of people come together and huddle up indoors together. With all of this huddling, people are coughing on eachother and germs and viruses are spread.

It depends on what is in the fog. If it is polluted air, yes, you can get very sick. I lived in an area where the fog came in at night and held in all the pollution while I slept. It was horrible, I got really sick and finally moved.

A person can get sick walking anywhere. No, not from the fog.

I've walked in fog plenty of times and not come out any worse for it.

Now, if the fog is actually smog or if someone in a vehicle hits you because they can't see you, that's a different story.

Don't think so. I mean, technically yes you can get sick in the fog, but I don't think the fog will be a contributing factor.

The girlfriend's mother is trying to scare you away from her daughter by making you think their family has a history of mental illness. Don't be so gullible. She is either uneducated or sadistically toying with you, which by the way seems to be working.
