Amazing grace is one of my favorites, I also like Christmas carols. The Muslim call to prayers sounds cool, but my favorite religious sounds are the chanting monks.

Jesus saw the heart of that individual and told him what he needed to do to get rid of the obsticle in his way. Laterno made a lot of money and gave 90% to wothy missions so that man would not have the same problem as the rich man. No one with a brain like yours can fail to see how men let wealth corrupt their hearts. There is not one who has bought a Rolex watch who does not have the same heart condition as the man to whom Jesus talked that day.
As for me we can sell all that I have title to to save even one soul. I own very little and survive on $ 663 a mnoth. In terms a woman would understand,, I have not bought a new pair of shoes in over 10 years. There was a time I made 183000 a year and arranged it so I paid no taxes. Not proud of that but I have the weakness that man had and I no longer suffer from it's dibilitating effects.
Fact is that if you do not want to be Gods friend then reading the Bible will be hard and only a few strands will be evident and those will be the ones needed to believe. Iasked that question so believers will come to grips with the fact that they can not use scripture to witness or to think an atheists will not see the truth but twist the scripture and thus bring more harm to their account.

Well, I am sort of an agnostic, but there are lots of Christian songs that I like. I recently read a book about the murder of atheist Madeline Ohare, that mentioned that she loved Christmas carols! Kind of ironic, eh?

Aside from the Christmas carols that I grew up on and love, I get chills up my spine every time I hear Ave Maria. It's one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.
Ave Maria
(Franz Shubert)
Ave Maria
Gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Ave, ave dominus
Dominus tecum
Benedicta tu in mulieribus
Et benedictus
Et benedictus fructus ventris
Ventris tuae, Jesus.
Ave Maria
Ave Maria
Mater Dei
Ora pro nobis peccatoribus
Ora pro nobis
Ora, ora pro nobis peccatoribus
Nunc et in hora mortis
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Ave Maria
For AJ....My son recorded for me some Muslim calls to prayer, and set them to Middle Eastern music. Spectacular.

I'm a big fan of requiums - Mozart and Brahms, mainly. I'm currently rehearsing a Misa Brevis with my choir. But current religious music? Not so much. I like it better when I don't know what the words mean.

Everytime I hear Amazing Grace I think of my Grandfather's funeral, it was played there.

I like it when Patty Smith says "Jesus died for somebody's sins but mine"
Or "God, part I and Part II"
