I think my biggest problem with the national debt is all the monies spend on defense....More than half the budget goes to defending this nation! Imagine if more than half of your monthly income went to food, or your mortgage payment, etc....You wouldnt be able to survive....Something is just WRONG with that....There is no balance with the budget and it seems with this war happy president, we will continue wasting money on defense....Where has it got us anyways?

Actually revenue is at a all time hight, the tax cuts really got business up and going, and they hit record high.

The high spending of the government has been the problem,
but yes it sounds like a democrat wanting to increase taxes most likely.

But it wold be easy, cut out alot of the welfare, send back all of the illegals and make both parties stop all of the pork spending, and allow the president line item veto
