yea you can and i am sure you can find all the info on the net on how to make your own and what you need,.... however dont do it... not even about infection etc. My brother had a homemade tattoo gun made out of a battery and some kind of motor and the ink for it and i put a tattoo of my boyfriends name on my ankle, so i tested it on the side of my foot, where i first of all thought that it wouldnt really stay on and it did and it looks terrible .. not even like a tattoo ... looks like a black ink mark from a pen that is all crooked and in no way looks anyway close to what even a bad tattoo would look like .... dont do it please it will look like crap

Possibly you could, but it would be incredibly dangerous to stick anything into your skin at home. You'd be setting yourself up for a bad infection, and nothing would make your tattoo look worse than to have an ugly scar over it because you tried to do it at home. Go to a good tattoo place, make sure it's clean and the instruments are sterile so your tattoo won't end up totally messed up.

Yeah, I met a guy who took thread and wrapped it around a needle and dipped it in ink. Then poked himself with it for a lot of times and "cussed and poked and cussed" for about an hour..He wound up with the letter "T" on his shin..looked like crap. sounded like it wasn't worth the pain or trouble..

I agree with the answer above, get one professionally done. That guy's looked like a "jailhouse" tattoo and unless you want people thinking you went to jail, I would advise against it.

Ohhhh noooo! Please don't- If you absolutely must have a tattoo, get it done professionally. Tattoo mistakes are permanent.
