Not everyone gets ulcers from this bacteria. I have had it for like 15 years. I have taken the antacid, and 2 antibiotics. They didn't work, they made me really sick for like a month after taking them.
The doctor told me to not worry about it until something better comes out. She said, that every second person out there has this bacteria..
She said, yes some say there are links with the bacteria to stomach cancer also, but nothing has every been proven because people have died from stomach cancer who don't have the H.Pylori bacteria.

I haven't given up on a cure, but I just waiting alittle longer to see if something else comes out. IF not then I am going to give the antibiotics another go.

Also, I have never heard of anyone feeling sick from H.Pylori bacteria, it usually doesn't cause symptoms.
I didn't even know I had it until I was tested.

I was tested because of pain over my gall bladder. They thought something was wrong with that, but found nothing so they did a endoscopy and some biopsy's. They found the H.Pylori bacteria....but said this wouldn't be causing the pain. I no longer have the pain and haven't for years.

H.Pylori or helicobactor pylori is a bacterium, blood work and show whether you have a current bout or show a past occurance. A lot of doctors (after a thorough exam and question session) may want to look into the stomache again and take a small biopsy and test it. It is a very quick test and before you even awake the results are ready. The doctor needs total truth from you though as to your nausea. Drinking? Not eating small frequent meals? Drinking too much caffeine or other harsh substances...You may have other blood work done too to rule out liver problems etc and anyother thing that may cause the same 'feeling' you have., Good luck, Suzanne

Off the top of my head, it is bismuth and an antibiotic or two. Go see the doc, ignoring it can cause damage. I have seen personally the results of a bleeding ulcer. Good luck.
