I'm not sure how what *I* know about catching the flu is going to help you be a good med student, but here goes.

Influenza is caused by a virus. Any contact with a live influenza virus will spread that virus to the person who had the contact. If they actually get the flu will be determined by the extent of the contact, the person's immune system, and if they wash the contact area immediately after coming into contact with the virus.

First of all I want to wish you the very best being that you are going to med school in a year. The world really needs good doctors very much.

Influenza (flu) is a viral infection that causes a fever, runny nose, cough, headache, a feeling of illness (malaise), and inflammation of the lining of the nose and airways.

How do you get it:

Every year, widespread outbreaks of respitatory illness caused by influenza occur during late fall or early winter. The illness occurs throughout the world. Altnough many respiratory viruses can cause the symptoms of influenza, the influenza A or influenza B varis is usually responsible for the epidemics in the late fall or winter.

The virus is spread by inhaling infected droplets that have been coughed or sneezed out by an infected person or by having direct contact with an infected person's secretations. Handling infected household articles may sometimes be responsible.

Being that you are going to be a doctor, I am going to give you some advance information. (If you reside in the United States this immune system builder is not available or in Canada as the FDA have their hands in the pockets of the doctors to keep good products off the market).

Flu shots in my opinion don't really work. And just about every country in the world, including the doctors who reside in these countries that are not out for the money will give their patients, PULMONAR-OM, instead of a flu shot.

PULMONAR-OM is an over the counter immune system builder, with 600,000 units of antibodies. About six different types of pneumonia, streep throat, etc. etc.

I will give this to any patient who tell me that they get the flu every year.

I prescribed they take 1amp., with juice once per month for ten months. The package comes 10 amps., to a package. Being that it is over the counter there are no known side effects.

Safe for any one over the age of 18 years old.

Be assured that you will never get another flu again.

The only time that you can not take PULMONAR-OM, is if for some reason you must take an antibiotic, then you stop and continue say one to two weeks after one per month.

Doctors and the United States and Canada blocked PULMONAR-OM from ever getting to the market being that is works 100%.

Plus we have doctors in other countries where it is sold over the counter and they will never tell their patients about PULMONAR-OM, because they prefer to give the flu shot, knowing that you are still going to get the flu if you come in contact with an infected person who may cough or sneeze on you. And ofcourse you will be back, so they will make more money.

Your search engine may help you find data on this. I have not ever used the search engine for this product, but I am sure you will find it. (Then you can read indepth information on how great ths over the counter immune system builder is).

When you complete medical school, your internship will be very hard, do to the long hours an always having a chief resident standing over you watching your every move an asking questions.

Feel that you should know that many doctors make it through medical school and fail their internship in a hospital. They are unable to take all of their book knowledge and apply it to practical hands on experience under pressure. (Especailly in the emergency room when you rotate). Their medical dreams go down the drain, plus all the money they spent going to medical school.

Please excuse my english

Handwashing is the best defense against the flu! And keep your hands away from your face.

It is viral, is in the air, also you have to wash your hand many times a day, to prevent it, cleaning is the best way to avoid it and of course not get in touch with sick people
