Ok, I know that a projector is basically a monitor, and mine happens to not have an RF input with probably all projectors.

I was thinking of either
A) going through a tv tuner (proly a vcr cause its cheaper)
or
B) getting a TV tuner PCI card for my computer and then have the computer feed the signal to the projector. (example http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_goplus.html )
* I plan on using the projector as a second monitor for my computer via S-video

Can someone tell me if these would work, and if so, which is the best option?
Thanks in advanced

If your projector has DVI or HDMI inputs, that can be used with your computer. Also, most projectors have SVGA connectors, but you would need an additional video card on your computer.

Use the tv tuner PCI card, there are some very impressive ones on the market. If you can use the vga output, then use that it will be a notch above the s-video, but s-video isn't bad though. This option is a much cleaner signal than going through your VCR.

PC Card would work.

Why don't you just get an RF modulator? Converts coaxial to RCA, and the projectors have to have RCA on em.

Either should work fine. If you have a tivo you can use that too.
