God,St Peter are your conscience.
Believe in yourself and if you can live in clear conscience God will believe in you.

I believe God is within each one of us, the power that makes us what we are, judgement is something we all bring upon ourselves, those with the biggest conscience bear the biggest burdens on earth.
If as we are taught to believe those that bear the biggest burdens on earth are the ones that will gain eternal life, then it is down to us to ensure that we all listen to our conciences and endeavour to do what we know is right even if it is not what we want. Just treat others as you would wish to be treated and remember "Judge not lest you be judged".
