Diet pills can mess with your hormone levels, which are still a little crazy because you're nursing a baby. It's better to just exercise and eat healthy and let the weight melt off naturally (and slowly) while breastfeeding so you don't totally shock your system. After you're finished breastfeeding and those hormones get back to normal, ask your doctor about some type of dietary supplement that might encourage weight loss. If you do it now and don't wait until your body returns to its pre-pregnancy state, you could really do a lot of damage to your metabolism... a.k.a. you'll actually GAIN more weight in the long run than you'll lose.

Keep with the breast feeding, it is a proven way to help you loose that baby weight and also flatten your lower abdomen. No diet pill is really safe for even your body, much less your babys. Everything is passed through breast milk. Try Winsor Pilates, it is a low impact, stress releiving way of toning your body in record time, and it is easy!

Very, very bad idea. The easiest formula is to burn more calories than you take in. Just walk a little bit more each day, and limit your portions at each meal, while still eating enough for your body to produce milk.

Just remember that whatever you put into your mouth, your baby will be eating as well.

Good luck and God Bless!

I honestly don't think that you should be taking any kinds of pills while you are breast feeding - there are other ways to lose weight. ( I thought breast feeding actually helped you to lose weight) Go for walks with baby, or while your baby is sleeping pop in an exercise DVD and work out.

Probably not, and even if someone tells you it is, there is no reason to take a chance. You shouldn't lose weight while you're pregnant. If you do moderate exercise like walking though it will help you not gain as much weight during your pregnancy.

NO! Anything you ingest will be ingested by your baby. Enjoy your 'womanliness' and worry about that extra fat once the baby is older.
You're beautiful.
