Hmmmm!!!! Alot of people are mixing there pony cars with there muscle cars. Muscle cars are mid-size cars that have big engines. Pony cars are small cars with V-8 power as an option package like a mustang, cougar or camaro. As for under rated I would say The GTX,CHALLENGER,442,1965 RIVIERA 0-60 in 8 seconds TORINO and GALAXIE'S. AS for pony cars I find the AMX very under rated. DARTS in various versions as well as NOVA especially 1966 on.

i own a repair shop, and i had a mercury cougar that would out run everything but the police radio, and it was a really nice car too,i raced verything that had wheels on it back when i was young, the cougar i had registered a 140 mph and it would do it,,i raced a hemi challenger one night and beat it,but i got a better bite than he did,but i still won,,that night we raced for pink slips,,yes i have the challenger in the garage to this day,but it was one of the fastest cars i think i ever owned, but they didn't get any credit for being a good muscle car,and they should have, good luck i hope this help,s.
