Yes, as long as your motives are pure and there are no other parties that will be hurt. If your ex has moved on then leave him be. If you were once married and have children together than by all means work out a friendship. Your children will be better for it.

When People really Love and Care about Others, like in a Relationship, they Should still be the Same, even if they have to part, for What ever.
You know, if you Love Someone, set them Free, if it was meant to be, they will come back. Or something like that. It hurts too, sometimes.
