The software company went out of business so cant get new disks. Could buy equivalent current software for $500 so this is the dollar limit. Have complete Pentium 1.7GHz system to transfer to.

Remove the drive the software is on,if you own the rights to use it or to transfer it, and put in new PC/Sys. Wise to check the Software Lisence to make certain. If is really old,the hardware may not work. if it is compatible you can put the Hard Drive in new PC as a Secondary Slave Drive. To run them, select that OS at boot. Do your work, then log off that and go to other OS if you want.
I had a system with loads of DOS programs on it and that worked for me, now it might not. But a $79 HDD and 25 CD-Rs is alot cheaper that loseing all the programs that you are comfortable with.
