Well, I don't know about that. But when I was a teenager I was caught in a riptide in the ocean and couldn't get in....the waves were crashing over my head, I couldn't touch the sand bottom and I was exhausted. At that point, my life truly did "flash in front of me"...and then I saw the lifeguard coming for me.
