My boyfriend is turning 21 soon and i am only 19 will i be able to join him in a bar? Of course not drink but just be there with him. I live in ohio.

Actually it totally depends on the bar/club that you will be going to. To be on the safe side and know for sure, call a few of them in the area and ask what is the entry age limit. Most places will et you in at 18, but you cannot drink. If it is a really posh place, they may say 21 no matter what. You best bet is to call ahead.

No anyone can enter- but only those 21 can be served liquor- So you are good to go- just not drink so you actually answered your own question - If still uncertain call the bar and ask! have a good time

that depends, unless the ar has a separate area that alcohol is prepared and consumed (such as a closed of bar with a dance floor that is separated off by a small wall) the no you would not be able to join him (because he could go pick up a drink and hand it off to you)
I used to go to a club in Idaho that was 16+ to dance 21+ to drink.

Well, I don`t live in Ohio, but I don`t think you can unless its a bar/restuarant. I live in New Jersey and I`m pretty sure thats the rule here.

It all depends of the policy of the bar and if it is located inside a restaurant. If its a place like Uno's then it shouldn't be a problem, but you'll have problems getting into clubs and places like that.

It depends on the bar, some bars allow minors who are accompanying adults some do not.

here in Missouri, you can go in at 18, but you have to wear an arm band, and only on certain nights. They are trying to get this changed, but are having trouble doing so in my town. I think that there has to be live entertainment before you would be allowed in now though...

Doubtful. 99% of places won't even let you in. Some places, if it's also a restaurant especially will let you in, but if they are very strict they won't let you sit at the bar.
