i read everywhere that roudn faces look good with side swept bangs, but my forehead is kinda big (like it sticks out more), soo side swept bangs kind of look weird. right now i have straight across bangs because i think i look terrible without bangs. i just reallllllly need help on a better hairstyle to make me look older. i'm 14 by the way. and i think i have a very immature face. can anyone help?

by the way right now i have long hair, like its to the middle of my back i guess. annnd i really dont want to cut it because i like having it long. buut this really minimizes my options huh. haha. uhhh please help??

I know what you mean - it's hard to give up long hair. One idea is to get long layers cut back from your bangs all the way to the back, and the back of your head - will give you more volume. More volume on top also is better for a rounded face, so the hairdresser will be able to show you how to do that with the layers on the top of your head.

First I want you to be happy with looking young. That will only last for a short while. Be happy about what you look like. Now. if you just want to change the way you look lyou should look at magazines and at the girls that have round faces, like yours and see what their hair looks like. There are a lot of movie stars that have round faces and you can get ideas from them. Think of someone that has a face shaped like yours and look at some images on the web, see her in different styles because they change all the time and see where you think she looks best and go from there. The trick is getting a hairdresser to do the style. Good luck to you.

take this answer from another girl that has the same problem, bangs that cover the whole top of ur face, not long long ones but kinda like the bangs Tyra Banks has.....with bangs, it covers ur forehead and helps ur personality...trust me boys will be lookin at u afta u change ur hairstyle....also u can jazz up ur bangs w/ a cute outfit or soooo it works also since u have long hair....try some updos or some curly styles NOT TIGHT! but loose curls

actually, you are in luck, long hair corrects a round face. you just dont want too many layers around the face, it will make you rounder. however, the straight across bang eliminates length and makes the the face seem more round. usually my clients think they look bad without bangs but they have had them so long they are just not used to themselves without bangs. ask your friends or hairstylist, but don't be afraid to try something new, its just hair, IT GROWS!

i imagine in case you've were given a round face you shouldnt get a the front finge because it will make your face look even shorter and rounder soo possibly you need to ask the hairdresser for longer layers that way your hair length remains there and in case your hair is parted contained in the middle then possibly you need to ask for some aspect layers that kinda hide the roundness of your face and in case you favor to hide your forehead i imagine a sweeping aspect fringe is ultimate :) yet shop YOURHAIR length it will ELONGATE YOUR FACE!

I know what I'm about to suggest is a bit naughty - but go to a shop that sells wigs.
Spend some time trying on various types (and wasting the poor old salesman's time) but at least you will decide the best style for you.

Keep your lang hair but maybe cut layers in to it or curl it. I have a round face and I hate when my hair is strait, short or pulled back. You definatly want to frame your face and balance you out...hpe that helps
