She will sit, beg, give me her paw, and lie down for a treat. But I can't get her to do the rollover thing. Anybody succesfully done this? Or should I just accept her limits as a catdog?

My cat rolls over. I took a treat (which he LOVES) I let him sniff it, then I'd say ROLL OVER! and I would physically roll him over. Then I'd say good Kitty and give him the treat. It only took a couple days. Now, when he is begging, which he does a lot of, he will roll over without the command because he knows its cute! It is not hard to teach them. My cat will also sit pretty.

My cat rolls over. I say "goroncho" (this is Japanese) and she does it. But I am not the one who trained her to do it, a next door neighbor taught her.

hold her paws and roll her, but very gently and while playing, with the word being said. Treats help greatly. Don't expect the dogs entheusiasm but she can learn.

The first step is to make her think the rolling over thing is HER idea. Beyond that, I'm not sure. . . . . .

let your cat lay down for a treat then take a toy and swing it from left to right every night till he does it automaticly

try teaching it the same way you teach a dog to roll over

get her to lie down and move the treat by her side a little bit more each time and she should do it. you seem to have a pretty smart cat!
