how to make your own pain relieving bandage like salonpas?

I'm not sure about "salonpas." But I use a flannel pillowcase. I fill it with either a hand towel soaked in very hot water and squeezed out as much as possible. I roll the towel, put it in the pillowcase, and roll that up to keep my neck dry (or don't roll it and use the steam) You can also get those nice lavendar scented ones that you pop in the microwave and they stay hot for hours.

Sew a rectangular piece of flannel, put dry rice inside it & sew it shut. Nuke it for about 3 minutes. Stays hot a long time. Can also be put in freezer & used cold.
