I use it after. I think the antibacterial quality of Listerine would be diminished if I rinsed my mouth out by brushing afterward. I don't know if this is true, but that is the way I do it.

maximum individuals making use of Listerine as directed will salivate heavily after use. This neutralizes the pH swifter than different consumed products. Use formerly or after, whichever you choose or can stand. i've got seen an excellent form of folk with pristine mouths that only brush and floss (no mouthwash) stable luck!

it probably does not matter whether you use listerine before or after brushing your teeth but the most common way is to use it afterwards because when they gargle they use listerine instead of water.

I use the before pre rinse, and then after I use listerine, but it really does not matter what order you go in.

Before.

It's better to do it after, because that will help take care of the plaque that your brushing may have loosened and not eliminated. It also helps with the bacteria on your tongue. But as others have suggested, it's also a good idea to use mouthwash a couple of times a day after eating.

I would use it after I brush and then floss , or if it is during the day you can use those Listerine patches that you place on your tongue.

u could do both, but I brush, floss, then use it to get rid of the mess that is left. The whole point of the stuff is to rid bacteria left from brushing so which do u think would be most beneficial to your teeth. Before or after?

i think your better off using it after so you cant get all the junk you can with a tootbrush, then floss and then have your fresh breath and rest of the plague out your mouth with the listerine. good luck

I use it after to make sure that I got all the way to the back of my teeth (wisdom teeth), clean my tongue, etc. Also, it doesn't sting as much once I've already brushed.
