First make them feel guilty about something. then tell them the way to make it up to you would be a great halloween. A fog machine would make it great. Then say that if you had a machine then you wont be out causing trouble. You will be focused on that instead of egging your neighbor's door. ; ) You can get some for cheap too. some are only $25. that would work for me, but then again, my parents were always pushovers.

Are you looking for a full-scale gymnasium-filling fog machine? You may be able to rent one instead of buying it. I'm sure that when we had those things at high school dances... our school rented it -- I doubt that the school actually owned one. That may be a more realistic option that your parents might spring for. If you only need a little smoke, you can get a fogging effect with dry ice and water (be careful with the dry ice, it can burn you). If you just level with your parents and ask them in a mature way, they might do it for you. Sure it's good to be responsible and have a job and pay for your own stuff, but your parents might be feeling generous -- go ask!

mmmmm... ask they dont cost alot you can get them at walmart ...you did not say your age if your old enough ask if you can have one because you and some friend want to have a halloween party /or your trying to make a haunted house..they are fun to have ..good luck
