I'm a groomer and believe me ALL dogs DO shed.
Wait, I take that back..the only dog that does not shed would be a hairless dog.
I have a Standard Poodle and although he does not leave hair all over the floor like a Lab would, when I bathe him (or any Poodle for that matter) and use my force drier on him..there is some shedding hair that falls off.

You might ask an animal vet, but I heard that the only dog that doesn't shed is a poodle...... I know Cockers shed and smell pretty bad. Have to bathe them lots..... Neighbor had one and it smelt to high heaven.

Not super bad like other breeds, but yes. And they have a natural odor. If you get a cocker spaniel it will need to be bathed thouroughly and often.

Yes they shed. But to address some of the other folks. No all dogs dont shed. Yorkshire terriers Poodles and several other terrier breeds do not shed. :D
