I seriously think you should wait for tommorrow....you just getting out of a root canal and if you had any sort of anasthetic then you would not want to risk it....plu you dont want to expose your teeth to bacteria....by opening your mouth just go home take a nap and work out tommorrow....

Your dentist should have given you instructions on your activity and would logically be who to ask about this. Give the dentist a call.

If for some reason you can't reach them, use how you feel as a guideline. If you start to feel weak or dizzy, stop what you are doing and rest. Be aware that you could become dizzy, especially if you are using killers, and avoid risky activities. For example, use a spotter for free weights and don't go in the steam room alone.

Definetly NO exercise for you today. The blood clot that forms in your gum after your root canal could blow out from too much activity which would cause a "dry socket". Look it up. BAAAD news and worse pain. Just sit tight for tonight.

Just be smart about it. Stay hydrated, and lower your intensity level a bit if you feel like you need to. I think you should be fine.

You should be fine as long as you are not having any severe pain or any significant bleeding.
