Well, I dont know what they get paid, but I do know that there isnt enough money in the world to pay me to take a bullet for that idiot!Have you ever seen the movie that uncovered all the secrets that surrounded 9/11? If anyone still supports bush, I would suggest they watch that movie. It has been relaeased to the public and its unbelievable what you will find out, like how he knew about 9/11 BEFORE it happened and ignored the warnings and threats and so much more that will make your jaw drop. I would take a bullet for my worst enemy before I would him.BUT thats my opinion Im entitled to.

In Atlanta I was assigned to protect the ex president
Jimmy Carter. my job in Atlanta was to meet him at the car ( SUV ) and walk with him into the building, and onto the elevator and to his meeting.
He of course decided to walk up the stairs though the crowd.
I was making about 35,000 a year without overtime pay for that honor.
The secret service people pay will depend on the grade and time in service. ( and adjustment for location)
My guess would be in the 40 to 50 K range

Why not just ask a secret service agent? I'm sure its about excellent job performance, following orders and discipline. Now shall I mention the homosexual ,drug using democrats that are out there. The list of immoral behavior is very long no doubt. I'm just to laid back and down to earth to be involved with that profession.

Whatever it is, no way its enough. By the way, I heard that ever since bush took office, he has a food taster to sample his food before he eats it. I wouldn't have that job either.

There isn't much difference between what he does and what a cop does. A cop stops the bullets so the public doesn't get it.

The people who take on this responsibility do not do it for the money. They are called 'Patriots" and have the highest security clearances of ANY branch of the military.
